Meet the Twenty8 National Board.

Kerry Harris (Chair) - Kerry is a Fellow of CPA Australia and a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
​
She has a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in accounting and marketing from Curtin University and has enjoyed an extensive executive career as a Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer in member-based organisations.
She is an experienced, independent non-executive director with expertise in finance, audit, risk and compliance. She has a strong focus on corporate governance, including financial and non-financial external reporting to include strategy and risk management, environmental and social governance, and aligning performance management with strategy.
Kerry is currently Chair of Women Onside, a member and advocacy organisation, a non-executive director with Volunteering Australia, and Chair of the Finance and Audit Committee.
She is on the Veterinary Registration Board of Victoria, CPA Australia Nominations Committee, and is a CPA Australia Victorian Divisional Councillor.
In addition, Kerry is the founder of Focus Consultants, a boutique consultancy specialising in business system design and digital transformation.

Jamie Heinrich - Jamie is a seventh-generation South Australian sheep farmer who now co-owns and runs his family’s 980-hectare sheep property, Ella Matta Pastoral, on Kangaroo Island.

The family operation includes the world’s oldest White Suffolk stud, a Poll Merino and Maternal Composite seedstock operation, and a commercial 17-micron Poll Merino flock.
Jamie has a degree in International Business from the University of South Australia as well as three years’ experience in the meat export and livestock game working with one of Australia’s biggest meat processors, Thomas Foods International.

He is the Chair of Agriculture Kangaroo Island - the voice and peak body of agriculture and primary production on the island – and is on the boards of Sheep Producers Australia and the Sheep Sustainability Framework. He is on the Meat & Livestock Australia Board Selection Committee and was formerly on the board of Livestock SA.
In 2017 he completed a Nuffield Scholarship on the topic of ‘Attracting and retaining young people in the sheep industry’, which took him to 17 countries in 20 weeks.
Jamie is a 2014 alumni of the Youth Ambassador for the Sheepmeat Council of Australia and has attended five American Sheep Industry Conferences - Washington DC delegations on behalf of the industry.

Jane Kellock - Jane and her family run a mixed-farming enterprise in Farrell Flat in mid-north South Australia. They have a self-replacing Merino flock, a lamb finishing system, as well as cereal and legume cropping.

Jane has a long farming history in South Australia and has held many positions across state and national sheep industries.
She is a passionate sheep producer who is always looking for ways to improve her flock, her business, and the Australian sheep industry as a whole.

Nathaniel Modra - Nathaniel is an experienced and knowledgeable agricultural professional who grew up on a cattle and sheep property at Western Flat in the Limestone Coast region of South Australia.

He has a Bachelor of Agricultural Science and is an alumni of the Limestone Coast Leadership Program.
His personal background, passion and practical experience help him quickly relate to his clients' needs. He prides himself on developing tailored solutions that work for unique circumstances.
Nathaniel is a member of the South Australian Livestock Consultants association and has worked with multiple farm business clients to improve their business performance. He is adept at collating and analysing business data, preparing benchmarking reports, and identifying areas of improvement.
Nathaniel has delivered successful projects in farm business advisor services, advisory board services, pasture management and financial performance.
He is also passionate about developing and maintaining sustainable and profitable farming systems for current and future generations. His expertise and practical experience make him a valuable resource for any farming operation.

Bindi Murray - Bindi is a commercial sheep producer in Woodanilling , Western Australia. She runs some 6,500 Merino ewes as part of a wool enterprise and 2,000 Merino ewes mated to terminal sires.

The business provides to local processors as well as the live export market. It strives for improvements through strong relationships and developing whole-of supply chain knowledge.
Bindi believes science is at the heart of agriculture. She has a Bachelor of Animal Science and completed her Honours thesis on the link between high wool production and meat quality.
Backed by her experience as a research officer for breech-strike trial projects, she is now a regular host of producer trials and technical updates.
Bindi is Chair of the LambEx 2018 organising committee , with a view to ensuring producers are provided with good science and practical solutions, and a Board Director of the WA Meat Industry Authority Board.
Advocacy has been an important aspect of Bindi’s career. She has held roles as a policy director and Pastoralists and Graziers Association Committee Member - and has been involved in national policy issues such as traceability.
Bindi has completed the SCA Governance in Action course, the Company Directors Course run by the Australian Institute of Company Directors, and is currently undertaking the Rabobank Executive Leaders program.
